The DR-DG-SERIES comprises modulator driver modules specially designed for digital applications such as data transmission with NRZ or RZ format up to 40-44 Gb/s. All devices exhibit a large gain >25 dB and can deliver an output signal up to 12 Vpp.

The DR-DG modulator drivers are especially useful for driving LiNb03 modulators with DPSK and QPSK modulation formats. They are also key devices for multi-level modulation formats and for driving phase modulators. The modulator driver are operated from a single power supply voltage for safety and ease of use and offers gain and cross-point control. The DR-DG comes with K type RF connectors (female in, male out) and with an optional heat sink. It is a non-inverting and single ended amplifier.
